Anyone knows for ops, how many years experience to be AVP? Whats the pay range?

Hi,

Can I get advise on the expected pay range & bonus - for both a analyst and senior analyst in GIC's Ops side? I have 3 years of experience in foreign banks doing similar role.

How's the work-life balance there?

Advice on career prospects & pay appreciated: Is it better if I go for Equity Research in a boutique firm instead (which may not pay as high as the above GIC role) and exit after 3-5 years, or to take this GIC Ops role?

Equity Research vs Ops? No brainer. Ops is ops, it's a back office job i.e not revenue generating. Depends where you see your future.

Anyone attended the GIC Superday on 21 May 2018? And will you be informed if you do not get to the next round (Final round with MDs)? How long is the result after Superday?

All the BS in here. If you join ops, you are drawing whatever local bank ops is drawing. It ranges from 3.3-4.2k for starting salary. Bonus is 2 months approx. 5% increment on average. FO starts at 8k goes up to 10.2k depending on your academic achievements. Simple as that. They are not paying any different from local banks. Such BS.
