They owe us 0.2 months this year. Next year, unless it is paid back as year old no variable bonus = 1 month + 0.2 (owed from 2014) + 0.2 months (2016 election sweetener), we should help to ensure aljuneid remains "unrepentant".

this is one of the dumbest post I've ever seen. the usual avc is 1 mth. just because 2013 was 1.5 and 2014 1.3 the govt owes u 0.2? why not say that u owe the govt 0.8?

Yes. Stat Board falls under the respective ministries and they follow whatever the civil service dishes out.

If you dislike the bonus payout, just leave and try private sector to find job with higher bonus.

Yes. Come and work for me. Next year I give you 3 months bonus.

Sorry I'm not too familiar with civil service bonus, can someone help out?
So does that mean this year there is 1 mth AWS + 1.8 mth AVC + 3mth PB (assume average B- performer)? So in total civil service is paying out 5.8 mth bonus for normal performerer?
This is really fantastic if true, makes me want to try my luck applying for a public sector job next year also.

average (C grade, about 75%) PB is 1.5. civil service is standard 15.5-16 Mth package
