Career prospect as Examiner
We are in the same boat.
Btw, I heard that there were >300 applicants for Examiner position this year. The number is increasing fast every year.
Why? How is the career prospect as examiner? Pls share your views (why u apply etc..)

admire your tenacity.
though to have higher chance if u were to try again next year, u have to know why u were not selected this time and work on improving it.
i heard tis is the last time they r doing mass recruitment to build up the base of examiners. Going forward, there will no longer be so many openings.

But if I thought that the interview had gone on well, how would I know where went wrong so that I can improve upon it?

could try send HR or if u have interviewer's email an email to ask how u can improve? but chances of them replying isnt high since they dont even send rejection email.
maybe meantime try get some work experience and then apply again next year, and i guess think abt how to ans the interview questions since u already know what they will ask... my first interview for a patent attorney position i failed too, I thought I did well then, but maybe i didnt answer the questions as well as i would like to.. but i already know what kind of questions they will ask and what they are looking for, so 2nd time round, got the job
other than this, not sure what else u can do..

Thanks for ur reply.
Is it ok to ask the HR where I did wrong? I did ask once before and she told me that it's the job fit. The interviewers think that I do not fit the job.
After u know the kind of interview questions that may be asked, how do u prepare for them? Think for a good answer on ur own or ask ur friends for help?
