Explain why do you think I need to see a doctor.

There are many reasons why someone would suggest that, cos you may be:

1. suspecting I am crazy and making up stories.

2. thinking someone must be mad to complain about being idle and financially free.

1. Become a social worker

2. Be a speaker (but who would want to pay to listen to my crap? I'm not a "self-made" millionaire like Adam Khoo who claimed he made his million (by investing stock)

3. Be a trainer in the niche I.T. skills I possess

4. Go ahead declare my true income to IRAS, pay the heavy taxes, engage bank loan to launch bigger scale businesses

5. Work overseas in I.T (Singapore has poor exposure to this niche expertise)

6. Move and settle down and retire in Malaysia (since all my family members are Msian. I'm the only SC having served army)

7. Wonder how I can land myself in a Senior Executive post in bigger companies (say, 100-men local company) to sharpen my business management skills

Find a PURPOSE, something really matter to you
devoting your whole life doing it and never look back...

you know what?

1) You should donate all your assets away
2) Go take up a degree
3) Start from scratch again

Default You are living in my wildest dream

I earn $2k per month.. my ex-husband left me and my daughter for another woman. I don't have a degree because a single mum like me (working full-time) does not have the money, time or freedom to attend night classes. I dream of financial independence everyday; but in reality, my salary is barely enough to last me until the next payday.

To Mr Twentysix, you can consider saving up to buy freehold properties and accumulate more wealth from your investments... hmm... but then at the end of the day I think having even having billions won't make you happy if you do not have loved ones (family members) beside you to share your life with...
When you are extremely wealthy, you can essentially get any car/house/woman/anything that you want... but there is also a possibility that family/friends/women starts seeing you as an ATM machine rather than a living person with emotions.
Poverty can cause depression, so can wealth. Seek help if you find your life meaningless and no longer worth living... =)

Because I'm from the IRAS and we will track you down, make you pay a fine of 10x the taxes you avoided and if it is large enough, send you to jail.

For almost 4 days I posted I receive more junk replies than genuine constructive ones.

Very disappointed with this forum. I am closing the thread soon.

Hi,

ok, i am going to try to answer this post as honestly as i can.

Let me start by saying i believe you are bored. This is natural since you are young, single and having achieved
SELF MADE financial freedom that many of us would envy. Most of your peers and even seniors of your age (even those in highly enviable banking industry) would not have achieved the success you have obtained.

This is important as you must remember you are now beyond the 0.01 % category of your age group. Meaning there is perhaps only another 10 other people in singapore in your age group having similiar success. And if you consider the likelihood that the other 10 people acheiving such self made financial freedom, my guess is that it would be due to the fact the 10 are from the entertainment industry. ie they are celebs and stars and as such they wont face the similiar problem of being bored. There may also be other wealthy rich kids, like you mentioned, but i believe this will be due to their inheritance and these wealthy kids will envy your freedom which they have yet to earn for themselves.

Having put the above in context, let me ask you to consider some things about yourself honestly.

1) You mentioned doing an good thing like being a social worker. To understand what it means to be a social worker, you must first understand that a social worker innate belief is that his/her input will result in the benefit of the GREATER good of others. It involves sacrifice of one resources for the benefits of others.

As such, this greatly conflicts in your other statement
that indicates you dont believe declaring your true income to IRAS which is illegal.

And I am illustrating the above for a reason. Not to shame you in case you are wondering but to highlight the conflicts that exist within you.
