teachers are overpaid creatures. I dont think mostly go for the passion of teaching.

if salary is 2k, do people still want to teach?

because of reaking high pay and job stability.

read from text book settle.

and the content of the education usually dont change. you can memorize everything after 2 years anyway.

now what they do? enjoy life during holidays. work a little bit need to recharge refill etc..

some people need to work 12 hours straight for those operations job etc.

Well, let me tell you something, my friend. Teaching isn't just a profession, nor about the paycheck — it's a calling. It's about passion, dedication, and a deep-seated desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Now, as for this notion of being overpaid, let's address that. Frankly, I believe some things shouldn't be measured in dollars and cents. Teaching falls squarely into that category. It's about shaping futures, nurturing minds, and fostering growth—not about counting coins.

Perhaps instead of traditional compensation, we could consider alternative rewards. Imagine a system where deserving teachers are rewarded with meal coupons or breaks to recharge their batteries. After all, a well-fed and rested educator is better equipped to inspire and educate their students, wouldn't you agree?

The only respect u get is within the school compound (from students).. once outside Teachers are looked down on by most lol
My kid can only be a doctor or lawyer
Then you sound like a parent who likes to abuse and control your kids.

I wonder if it is really a parent behind the keyboard or just some bored kid unhappy with his/her teacher thus turn to forums to make anonymous teacher bashing posts.

Its entertaining, hope these trolls don't stop. I always get a good laugh 😂

During this period of time, students are on holidays. So the nonsensical posts which are sprouting up should be taken with a pinch of salt.

It is all about the teachers themselves.. As if teacher care so much about students. Teachers are not parents. They don't care students. Otherwise, why "fall cases" exists in singapore schools?

Every year also same
