Medical, childcare, annual, loss-of-kin leave etc... Employee stock options at 50% price.... Yearly gatherings... Sports events....
2nd upper 3.1k basic, 10 months bonus 2010. 7 day/wk.

that sort of bonus reminds me of investment banking. haha
10 mths bonus is like equivalent of almost 6k without bonus.

I think most Shipyards in Singapore paid good bonus....working for ST Marine and received 10 month bonus this year.....my grade was B.......

Erm sorry...forget to add...i working as the Production supervisors....involve in maintenance and overhaul.....

Diploma in Mechatronics, however join the shipyard as Production Supervisor after my NS at the age of 22...starting pay S$1700 per month.
Posted to overseas for project work after 8 months of work....only completed an annualhaul during the 8 months....work more than a cow...no day and night..weekends also burned....clocked 150 hours OTs for a month......everyday for a period of 3 months......
posted to overseas for 1 and 1/2 years.....was summoned back to handle a "cock up" project......same thing happen....work like slave...
Posted back again to overseas after completed the project.....
Bonuses for pass 3 years was 9 (Pro-rated so its 4.5), 8 (financial crisis year) and 10 respectively.
Now 25 years old, basic is S$3000.....this year earning is basic(3000x12) plus bonus(3000x10) = 66K
did not include my overseas allowance....x3 of my basic salary......
any comments?

Hi, I m just curious.. You get overseas allowance of 3x 3000 per month ? Means sgd 9k per month ? Or 9k for how long duration ?
