OP with 4.5 years exp should definitely be getting M
anyway imda is a stat board for generalists, the genuine tech guys are in govtech
so it's irrelevant to discuss about exp not relevant

Accountant at HDB
Hi, wanted to ask if anyone has an idea of how the pay is like as an Accountant in HDB?
I graduated from local uni accountancy with FCH, have been in Big 4 Audit for the past 2 years and currently drawing $4.2k. Does anyone know the salary range I can expect with this experience?
Currently offered a role in an MNC but pay is about the same as my current and I’m actually more interested in a role in civil service. But applications for HDB hasn’t closed yet, so I’m not sure if I should reject this role and hope that I get shortlisted for the role at HDB. Wanted to know more about the salary prospects before making a decision. Thanks!

Nowadays what is the joining grade for fresh graduate? Is it still mx13 or mx12 now? Last time I had fch and joined as a junior executive, mx13 at 3k per month, very sad to see all the younger people joining at higher grade and higher pay and title.

How many years ago was that? And how much are you earning now? Still at the same stat board / ministry?

Fresh grads still join at MX13. Of course will have higher starting salaries due to inflation

Got offered a Manager position in a ministry.
Overseas pass degree.
7 years working exp in GLC.
What grade would I start at? MX12 or MX11?

They only gave verbal confirmation, and have yet to calculate the numeration.

don't put hope too high, most manager will start off at mx12.. salary wise I do heard some need to pay cut join CS, instead of having a pay rise...
