Has anyone heard about the salary adjustments in August? I heard the briefings have started but my agency has no announcement yet.

Govtech's senior engineer and staff engineer is around that range. Staff engineer slightly higher

Hello all, have a serious question to ask please. Assuming I have been stuck and at ceiling of MX11 salary for about 4-5 years (don't think will be promoting next year also), will it be wiser to apply to another ministry of higher grade? my HR mentioned as long as still MX scheme within ministries - they will not take you in at a higher grade.
the only way to circumvent this is to join non-MX schemes or stat boards. is this true? feel so demoralized that my annual increment is almost negligible.

HR is trying to indirectly tell you that you have reached your career end point.
Better stay with the Devil that you know rather than the Devil that you don't.
The other schemes are the DXO and DSO.
You can research the jobs but there will be probation.

Really? I have seen many people go to a different public agency for a promotion.
