What are the range of titles corresponding to each MX? Can a manager be MX11, can a SAD be MX11a?

Are the MX salary ranges accurate? Any of the current MXes can share your salary range to fact-check? The info is available on your HRMS =)

Looks accurate. I can verify up to MX10.

if careers@gov post a manager job, means it will definitely be MX12? or can it range from MX10 to MX12 depending on YOE, education etc?

career decision
I'm currently working at a public service agency and have attended two interviews at MTI (trade officer) / MINDEF (defence/policy relations) respectively. Both interviews went well and the respective HRs are keen to proceed with my application.
MTI shared that this will be a lateral movement and my wage/benefits will remain the same. While I'm checking with the MINDEF HR on the salary package, any one jumped from stat board to MINDEF previously and can comment if there's a jump in salary?
Broader, any views on which Ministry is preferable, for career progression? Both roles, on paper, offer significant exposure to upper management given the job scope + nature of work.

I suggest mindef, the payscale is around 20% higher compared to the MX equivalent I think.

Probably can expect around 10%, which will put you at around 60% mark of MX11 range, can estimate max 5 years of increment to hit 11A.

Any rough estimate of the pay scale for MINDEF? tried googling but couldn’t find much about it beyond how it is slightly above the MX scheme
