To that guy asking questions about EDB
Definitely possible to get bump in total package over current job, if you have skillset they want and negotiate well. But depends on role, experience, market conditions etc.
The comp bands and bonus variability are large. Head role can comfortably handle 150k TC with ample room.
Director is not very senior, not sure how much impact they have on offer package.
Not many places hiring tech in EDB, go in with eyes open.
Disclaimer, am not ex or current EDB employee. DYODD

Firstly is the job stability. Secondly, the pay scale is better than what private sector is offering.
Ultimately my goal is to join AGC since I have interest and related to the course I'm currently studying.

Option 1. movement policy- same pay can get 21D leave
Option 2. Fresh hire - not sure what is the increment in pay offer, 18d leave. Years of service start from 0.
Can share what’s the pros and cons of either offer of movement policy or take new package?

Actually if u tx over.. Unless its for new environment... Likely progession is same in all gov sector unless u scholar or ur boss likes u. Otherwise no increment jump for?
