Yes, they only consider those years after you have completed your uni. For those years before uni completion, they may take in a number of years only but definitely not full.

My latest exp is for 10-12 years experience is MX11. They will give you MX11A only on special circumstances example your previous pay too high but they can match it even thou your exp not enough to be at MX11A, they will still put you in MX11A. Grade is not based on working exp..more on your salary

That is very low. Maybe the possible covid excuse is real. Now inflation is rather serious, hope the increment this year will also go up.

yeah, the year before i got $320 for a band B. i am pretty sure last year increment was affected but covid.
lets hope this year will be better.
ps : and i do think when there will be adjustment (in fact to only adjust back what we lose out in 2021 increment) when market pick up

kind of untrue.. i mean most SBs dont follow MX and are on different schemes.
It's hard to make a sentence "SB got pay adjustment coming soon".
Unless it is referring to specific SB or across the whole of CS and PS.
