Can anyone shed some light why do Principal Executives in SLA generally have university degrees (mainly from the local universities) whereas the same title Principal Executives in LTA generally have up to polytechnic diplomas? Why the difference in academic requirements for the same positions?

I guess if you can't get into banking or tech then it makes sense to go gov. Thanks for the insights

Different sb/cs can have different title for their grads or dip holders. Some places such as MSE have grad as executive and dip holder as assistant executive while some fresh grad starts with AD. It’s not a one size fit all title across.

Tks for this. Yes, I have NS with FCH from local uni and non-stem major. I actually wanted to wait for CS offer, but may accept this private offer if it is comparable or slightly higher than CS. I am aware ICA position with FCH gets a start of 4.2K, but not interested in uniform jobs.

Rather this than being placed on involuntary NPL indefinitely or axed due to companies winding down like what is happening in the private sector

Which of your friends in the private sector are facing this exactly? Unless you are in tourism/F&B (minority of grads), you should be doing really well (tech, banking, consulting etc) LOL
