it's very unlikely u can nego to the higher limit of a salary band
cos u will hit the ceiling very fast but it's not time for u to promote yet

if you are drawing more than 7 * 16months now.. you will likely be offer mx11a..
unlikely hr will offer you 7k for mx11

not really. HR will look at the credentials, qualifications and experience. I have seen people getting 8-9K in the pte sector, but being offered only 4-5K.

What does In Process mean in Career@Gov? Does it mean that the applications are being submitted to the hiring manager for review?
If the hiring manager did not choose me, will the status change?
Some of them seems to simply let the job application expires on its own after 1 month plus to unsuccessful.

the status is not an accurate indicator lol. I'm in the job for almost 2 years and the status on career@gov is still 'in process'

In the gov directory, some people's email addresses are (their name).from.TP at whatever government domain.
What does this "from TP" stand for? Temporary assignment?
