Is it possible to sit for MRCP without clinical experience or internship?
Singapore exams are MMed. MRCP is UK.

During my mbbs a decade ago, we have non recognised foreign grads sitting exam with us.

We have a. Lot of local grads quit government service.
So there is a shortage of mopex
Medical officers

Essentially even if ur foreign sch is not recognised, and they need manpower, they are willing to let u sit for local mbbs exam.
Then if u pass u can get temporary registration
how many years ago was this? what is written on their MOH list of medical practitioners page under medical degree?

Your chances of passing is close to zero. you dont want to spend so much time reading for MRCP Part 1 and 2 and only to realise that you cannot get through PACES because you lack the experience.

and why is it that you dont want to just sit for the local medical school final exam? easier and cheaper.

Ey. Seriously.
Are u like some India Indians wanting to work in sg and coming here to fish for info without even wanting to do a proper search?
I highly doubt any Singaporean will go and do a non recognised basic degree.
Or is your grades actually so sucky that u can't even get into a 3rd tier UK uni.

Official and non official.

Official is nah, we only take first and second schedule

Non official is my first schedule is quitting their bond
My second schedule leaves immediately once full reg

So no choice must take non scheduled and let them sit for mbbs final

The root cause is residents quitting whenever they want.
Its time to increase the bond to 10 years and only have full registration after.
We need to protect the system

Agree. make them do apprenticeship at our GP clinics under supervision from our GDFM / FP to gain experience.

We need to change the laws to reflect this

Why only 10 years? Make it 69 years.

And bond for $69m

Trust me there will still be long queue of young JC students wanting to be dr.
