What the.. do you lack basic comprehension? I'm saying does location matter at all if you're not gonna be able to make use of whatever surrounds your office anyway if you're working late? Wtf are you from kings or something?

Kings/UCL and above >>> NUS/ SMU
Outside of red dot, nobody will know where NUS/ SMU is. Elite UK unis have global presence.

Unsure how you are putting "Kings/UCL" and "Elite UK unis" into the same sentence without dying of laughter.

Hello, some people might shy away from Chinatown firms cos it seems less prestigious? It depends on the type of cases the firm takes in, e.g. firms in Chinatown tend to focus on Family or State Court level... walking distance to the courts...
Adelphi, Supreme Court area - more expensive rent so maybe(?) can pay more...
Toa Payoh - focus on conveyancing cos near HDB...
Stereotyping a lot here but location may indeed come into play...

Usually both you and him/her should reach a consensus whether to stay on in law or not.
Don’t forget JD candidates are much older when they join the legal profession so you could always come back to it again when the economy is better

how would law firms/recruiters view an extended gap in cv though? currently filling my time doing non law courses but would it be better to say do paralegal/inhouse (isnt that a killing a legal career) until landing an associate role, or just wait it out?
