travelling more to do with type of job than seniority. many senior jobs dun need much travelling.

also if ur thinking of travelling as in fly, hotel, wine & dine luxury in style etc, logistics is the wrong industry. management consultancy, oil/gas, banking etc are more into that. most logistics firms have very stingy travel policy.

Default DHL Express Pay

The figures here are about right. Not only that, the increment every year is very little. Logistics is a tough business. Typical analyst (non-sales) related roles usually do not have much bargaining power. You have to have a love of the industry to be working in such a role.

I was from UPS few years ago and agree 100% - this industry is not into spending $$$ on travel & entertainment.

Back in UPS all staff below Director travel on cheapest economy airline regardless of distance. Hotels are normal 3-4 star chains, only normal taxi (no hotel limo) and meals & entertainment capped at $50 per day. Each overseas trip also need to justify and get a lot of approvals. Pathetic compared to my peers who were from banking.

Agree, tough business, razor thin margins. You gotta really have the drive to want to succeed. People leave the industry frequently. I'm in logistics and stayed because of the challenging nature of the industry. You get new problems to solve all the time.

bonus 1 to 2.5 months sounds correct.
4500 salary sounds correct also considering transportation allowance is included
annual leave should be around 21 days depending on your grade.

I don't think you will have much travelling, especially if you are only supporting country office.

working environment should be quite happening there : )

one common option for a lot of logistic ppl esp those who get stuck no promotion or find the stress and workpace too fast is to join the teaching staff at related insitutes like SIMM or MOE teacher at ITE after getting a few years exp.
