Should I leave my current job without finding a new job?

A very short history first. Can't take it any longer in the current company. Was employed By my current coy to handle certain projects in my area of field. End up along the road was tasked to handle other projects that was completely out of my field and required me to be on standby 24/7.
It had reached to a point I can't take it longer and was contemplating to resign straight without finding a job. Financial wise I had savings so that should not be a problem but I'm more worried on how it looks for my future employers.
And before anyone asking me to speak to the company management, they will only tell me that coy do not have enough headcount so will just throw me there to help up.

Dun do stupid thing especially when you are just a jr guy w/o any niche area. A lot of ppl who quit w/o job end up unemployed for too long & eat up all the savings. Also when ur jobless time is against u and ur force to take up any lousy job out of desperation.
