fund manager in my co is paid 15,600. He's 37 with about 10 years experience.

Relax dude, 7k is ok. i am a portfolio manager with a large AM, and only earning slightly more than yourself.

That's good enough pay. Not enough is cause u don't save and invest right from the moment u start work but splurge on unnecessary luxury that u can't afford

Are you a lady? You may have doubts about yourself, but i can tell you that you are very very blessed (im sure it wasn't purely luck) to get the junior PM role as there are 100 over analysts out there who are willing to take your job for a lower pay.

Continue to invest in yourself through learning and studying and you will become better with time. And the money will follow naturally.

im in my mid 30s and only getting 4k plus so compared to me you are doing well. that being said, we are holding different job titles and working in different industries so the comparison is not on par

Looks like me...how many years of working exp u have? u a degree or dip grad? Thanks

i have a total of 16 years experience and am a degree holder. i started working quite young after i got a cert in business admin. however, in the early stages of my career, i felt that i couldnt really advance towards a better paying job due to my qualifications even though by then i already had a few years of experience under my belt so i saved up and obtained my degree when i hit 25

Wah like that you a bit more lugi (no offense) I got around 6 + years of exp and mid 30s earning same income as you. But I grad from local uni in 2007 but I feel I am way underpaid. Anyway thats life i dont blame anyone bt myself coz I just need to work harder than others to get that pay I want...
