guys your info is really helpfull, i would be glad to help anyone interested in Thailand. Dont ever take one mans opinion. I guess after all these years im just sick of it here. life is an adventure after all. but it has changed here a LOT!

as for my lifestyle expectations in SG, well all I do here is maybe go to the gym, work from home and play Xbox online. with the new PS4 and a good gym in SG I will be fine. I love to go fishing and already looked at SG, and looks awesome. Im not a clubber or fancy restaurant person, happy to eat vendor food (especially if its indian!!) . I do enjoy a few beers and see that its expensive, but that may well be a blessing in disguise.

if you have any specific questions about thailand, pm me and i will be glad to help.

As a fresh grad armed with a business degree majoring in finance, with no solid working experience, can i find employment there easily?

I know this might sound absurd to many in here, but I am quite sold on the idea of low cost living and the slack attitude towards life aka sabai sabai. I reckon I can blend in easier into the crowd being asian if I dont open my mouth and speak though I know alittle bit of thai. Who knows, I might just marry a decent Thai lady and settle down there.

What are ur views and opinions on this?

im sure you could find work here but the wages are stupid. I think min wage a day is 300 baht. Thailand slipped in to recession last month for the first time. The country lives in a bubble when it comes to economy. Japan has the biggest interest here with car manufacturing and cheap labor.

Im not so up on work here as I work in the States (online) all my clients are there. I personally would never work for a thai company. I could sit here and ridicule the Thais but you need to be here to understand the ethics of how they think and operate. Corruption is rife, and they would steal your eye brows if you fell asleep in the park. (again I dont mean to be slagging them off) but its true.

I just would not work for a Thai.

Im sure if you google some jobs you will find plenty in your professions.
