If i was NUS biz school i wouldn't work as a customer service officer helpdesk whatever. Who cares if it's apple, and in fact, pisses me off more. I would choose the accounting job.
Handling money matters is better than doing phone tech support (i imaginge that's what apple job is_).

which job would u take and why?
)) thank you

take the accountant job. trust me. its' your first job, you should start with something respectable. And a fortune 500 co isn't that bad. Having APPLE on your resume isn't that great if the job isn't a high responsibility one. Would you work as a toilet cleaner at APPLE if they paid 3.5k? We're not talking about something so fantastic like 10k a month, where you can clean toilets for 5 years and buy a condo. The difference of a few hundred a month is not worth sacrificing a proper professional job for a low ranked job like helpdesk officer. You're young, trust me. I'm older and wiser.

Obviously the accounting job is a proper profession. If you wanna go far in the accounting profession this is the way to go.
If you want to try the technology industry, Apple is the way to go. Or even if you are still undecided, working for apple first is good too. Maybe you can do a masters later on and switch departments? who knows?

You guys are wasting time on this guy. At first he say Apple has better brand can build his CV, when others say the phone help desk is dead end, he change the story that he only want the highest money where Apple pay a few hundred more. No matter what he will come out with excuse to join Apple.

what's so bad about joining Apple? They are the world's most admired company. Even if it does not work out, he can still jump ship after 6 months or a year. What's so bad about it

Different between most admired company and company with most admired employees. The danger is if jump ship to be accountant after 6 months, he will be force to blank out the 6 mths as CSO. It looks very bad in CV either as long unemployed period or anyhow take up low level job that got nothing to do with finance.
