HR not obliged to share/disclose
Hiring agency/dept will make their judgement/assmt base on the inputs from the screening for any red flags to not hire then from there HR just tell the pax sorry u not hire

Newbie to this Civil Service/ Stat Board thread.
I applied to a SB, interviewed 2 rounds, Reference check done. Last Thursday, HR asked for payslip to discuss pay this week so I sent on last Friday.
Now that I have read through pages of this thread, I panic liao.
Can u-turn,
Can they check with a company that I left recently, not on good terms and v short working period, for reference or not? I didn't give them any referral from that company.
Will they go MIA?
I panic like crazy. Have been looking for a job for a long time. Mid-career here btw.

Hi guys, was wondering if it is normal to receive tentative offer from govt agencies instead of formal offer directly?

Is Grit Traineeship positions overloading security clearance folks? Wondering if there's a general delay in sec clearance.

Sometimes it is to weed out those who cannot keep secrets.
Then they wonder why the offers were rescinded.

they will only contact the referees you give. since you say reference check done, shouldn't worry.
just wait for the offer letter to come. should take 2 weeks minimum from my personal experience.

hello everyone! i applied for an entry level position with PSD in sept, went through both interviews in mid-end oct and hr expressed their interest to continue. submitted docs in end oct, g50 form the first week of november and now i'm waiting to see what will happen.
does anyone have any clue how long any of this might take for them to get back, or a potential period they might be looking for me to start after the rest of the processes after g50 are out of the way? thanks in advance!
