Any difference between roles that explicitly mention contract in the header vs those that don't have?
Some job header don't have contract but say candidate will be offered 1/1+1/2/3 year contract.
Others just say candidate will be offered x month contract.
Some never say contract in the header or job description when HR call they inform you is contract.
Any difference in benefits between these kind of contracts?

if it's those with X month contract only,
pretty clear is just a stop-gap temp role
benefits are bare bones only

just realize got the "Fixed Terms", "Contract", "Permanent", "Permanent/Contract"... is there any difference if fixed terms never say contract period, permanent and permanent/contract also offer contract to start?

fixed terms is pretty much full time contract.
but caveat is no PB. Pay increment is near zero.
no 13 mth but they conveniently disguise it as completion bonus ie you complete full 1 year duration of contract, u get paid bonus
once the duration is up, either SB/M emplace u as perm head count or let u go aft cont end.
i had work in previous SB (start out as temp b4 they become my direct employer).
signed 3 contracts (max count allowed) on a 1-1-2 year duration
whilst there's income stability partially because it was during heights of Corona 19, SB side has no estb headcount to emplace so after abt 4 years, off i go.
now quite rare for SB/Ministry to offer perm at 1st instance.
they may opt for contract 1st but effectively the benefits and renumeration u r getting is as good as perm ie u get your PB and 13th month
some may just opt to renew and renew then will emplace
or the other scenario is after contract expiry ask u to fly kite.
