hello everyone! i applied for an entry level position with PSD in sept, went through both interviews in mid-end oct and hr expressed their interest to continue. submitted docs in end oct, g50 form the first week of november and now i'm waiting to see what will happen.

does anyone have any clue how long any of this might take for them to get back, or a potential period they might be looking for me to start after the rest of the processes after g50 are out of the way? thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I got a verbal offer with one of the statboard on 5 Oct. I kept following up with HR. She said waiting for final approval. She then told me that this week hopefully she will update me. May I know the chances of getting this job? Is it confirmed?

in other words, what HR has presented u is just a provisional offer
assume no cock up in your admin checks/background screening

thereafter they need to put up submission paper to get PS approval b4 they can formally offer u the post

I just called hr. I asked her if my ps approval is done. She said yes. She told me to give her one more day till tmr to give me an update. Means most probably get right?

"we need more time for discussion and will get back to you in 1-2 weeks time"

folks do you think there's still hope? first and final interview completed, ref checks requested right after final interview. moving from min to min under MOPO.

i emailed HR 1 week after the final interview and was informed they needed to DISCUSS more. whyyy.

i'm in a contract, and the role i'm applying to is also contract

Went for 4 rounds of interview and just finished the final round with SMT on Monday. Was for an entry role and was very taken aback.... at the multiple panels and essays to be written. Thought I had it in the bag already since it was SMT already. Last round was the toughest and really thought it was challenging compared to the other rounds but didn't went too terribly but ended early.

HR said will get back very soon but no replies. Was a bit demoralised as the rest of the rounds moved very quickly eg., was called up within the same day. Thought I was a good fit...

Did I mess up with the last round that SMT refused to sign me off? Not sure if I should go and pester HR for an answer. My referee was not called up as well... Traumatized

No it was for an entry role. Heard for this company, it's normal for the last round to be at SMT level.
