Yes, initially they told me I could start at the start of July, but until now they still processing my application.

see if can talk to the hr person to get an update on what is going on, sometimes they are unable to offer you the provisional offer due to certain circumstances and they may be making a case for you. good luck bro

What to expect if offered a job from ministry? I already accepted verbal offer and I think they will send me a letter offer soon.

1. Will I need to go down to sign physical letter or how does it work?
2. For health checkup how does it work? will they book a slot for me or I can otot go to any supported medical clinics to test? (is it usually extensive or a simple checkup?)

1) Vital will contact you regarding the signing. I am also waiting for the signing lol
2) For health checkup, it depends on the nature of work, likely its eyesight, hearing and declaration of any chronic diseases bah. Im not too sure, someone else see if can help.

for me there was negotiation involved so it took around a month.

verbal offer very dangerous one
since nth signed on paper (physically or electronically), possibility of offer retraction may well still happen
