Hi all, I applied for a position at the Ministry of Trade and Industry and went for the final interview with the Deputy Secretary about two weeks ago.

I called up HR to ask about the status yesterday and HR replied that I was still under consideration and that the department in question was still in the process of conducting interviews with other candidates and will likely take another two weeks to get back to me with the final decision. Anyone faced this before? Not exactly sure of my chances at this point.

has anyone apply to the organisation before? how long is the waiting time from submission of application to shortlisting for interview?

Cheer up bro, I have been applying for the past month since the start of february but haven't been getting any replies, all are placed "In Process" for a month already. At least you manage to get an interview.

MAS final round interview is being conducted

I was recently offered by one of the ministry. The HR called and I accept the offer. But the HR told me the offer will be confirmed after approval by the senior management. Anyone know what's this approval for? I am afraid that they will suddenly say the senior management don't approve. I am really really worried!

I was in the same situation, went for interview and the HR called me that I was shortlisted and there was some admin to do before approval at HQ which took weeks. Was told that usually it will go through if everything is in order.
