if my reference is my previous intern supervisor in the ministry, will they pre-empt me that they will be conducting reference check or will they just do it internally without me knowing?

All the very best, I do hope you get positive news! May I ask if you applied for a DPP role or as a non-legal related role at the AGC? When did you send in your application and how long did they take to respond to your application?

Hiring process timeline
Hi all
I am new to public service and have been in private sector all my career. Wanted to share my experience while researching for this topic. Have been out of job since 2019 and sent in many applications to ministries and sb over the years but only have had one interview with a sb last time but wasn't successful.
I have just been accepted by a sb during this period and have never expected myself to get a job during this difficult time.
I had an automated video interview, written test, presentation and a final 'live' session with the panel for my whole interview process. HR has been prompt and fast in updating whenever I got through to the next round. The whole interview process from receiving the first call to final offer was 3 weeks.
Good luck to all out there who are job hunting this period and stay positive!

Will you be able to share if you have reapplied with the Stat Board this year? How long was the duration they took to reply you after you apply?

Ah okay, cool. Thanks so much. Were your Exp and qualifications relevant? Cause I had been applying but haven't got a reply.

My experience was sales but the job is non sales so it's a bit irrelevant but I do have transferable skills. That was one of the interview questions. I have a non local degree.
