i was told that i was shortlisted for an interview recently but they had not set a date. Also not sure if it is face to face or video online interview

Hi. I passed a wrriten test and went for interview coming to 6 weeks ago, and I ofc gave up hope for this role already. I applied for a different department in the same ministry and would be having an interview soon. I noticed that the same HR person who corresponded with me for the first role is cc-ed in the email, so I guess this is confirmation right? I mean if they planning to hire me for the first role, they won't waste time to interview me for the second role right? Sigh I prefer the first role...........

I attended the final interview early last week. What's the usual timeline for the organisation to get back to us on the outcome/offer?

Any Stat Board HRs here? I would like to know whats the cut-off date to be paid for the month suppose my SB's payday is 12th.

I attended a Zoom interview with AGC last week. It was overwhelming for me. 4 interviewers. I think I did not do so good.

Lowest level of risk considering the deep pocket our government has and the all out support govt is giving to retain jobs.

Depending on the offered role. Some role might be retracted or delayed due to freeze of head count. However, if the role is urgently needed to be filled, there would be any issue and the overall process will be much faster than one can expect.

Just to give some context/hope.

I am a second-upper honors student from NUS. One of the majors from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. I graduated in 2018.

My experience with Public Service is this:

SB1 (First Job): application in end Jan 2018 -> called for interview end of March -> first F2F interview in mid march -> 2nd F2F interview in end march -> verbal offer the next day -> contract signing 1 month later.

I was in SB1 for 1.5 years. Went to Ministry H because I thought I could escape the toxic culture of SB1 and learn new things. But I was wrong lor.

Min H: Applied in mid Aug -> 1 F2F interview in october + written test -> mid-October G50 form comes + reference check -> Dec start work.

Just to ask ... how many applications do you all make on careers@gov before securing an offer? For my first job right, I remember making less than 20 applications. But my second job, I remember sending out 160 applications lol.

Hi, does anyone know if the HR will send a rejection email after the interview or they will just keep you hanging if you are not contacted?
