Just to also share my situation,
it took 2 weeks after interview to be notified that I was shortlisted, another 1 month of admin forms filling, admin and referral checks and have been waiting still for paper work to be approved it seems.
The process for me started since last year and I am still waiting. Hopefully this is just the norm for Min/SB to be this long.

Hi guys, i just went for a ‘second interview’ plant tour at ( NEA)tuas south incineration plant as an engineer last wednesday. May I know by when will I know e results? Or anyone of you who have already been shortlisted?

what are the interviewers in public sector look out for? does the 3 essay questions matter?

They just want to see your standard of English. Cos in public service there're tons of submissions/reports to write.

Hi
Has anyone applied to DOS before? How long do they take to offer you after the interview is over? Do they conduct reference checks before giving a verbal offer?

Went for final interview with a statboard last Tuesday but no reply till date. HR told me to wait one to two weeks for the interview outcome. But good vibes from the interview tho. Director actually replied to my follow up email which is rare.
How long do you guys usually wait for an offer from a SB? Thanks!

My interviews were arranged by HQ’s HR and i have sent follow up emails for the first and second interviews of a CS company... I bet HR did not even forward my follow up emails to the interviewers.. any of you guys here experience this? Btw, hope you get the job offer! Cheers!

Both hr and the directors replied to my follow up emails which gave me the impression that I didn’t do too badly. Haha but still no reply after 3 days! Thought statboard would be faster if they really like the candidate. Fingers crossed for us!!!

They have alrdy rejected me on tuesday  they will usually respond to you within 1-2 weeks... which SB? Haha
