Had an interview 2 weeks ago, was informed I will get the result of whether I moved to the next round this week.

However Friday has come and passed. Should I call them up on Monday? Or continute to wait in vain? Or is it I have been rejected already...

You should try call them on monday. But you should be ready for the answer from them if it's not good.. For my case, I had to email them after the 2 weeks period to check before they called back to give me the offer.

Thank you for your advice sir. I called them today but nobody picked up. Emailed them but nobody reply. If I got rejected why don't they just tell me... Hard to find closure.

can check if you all are able to withdraw unsuccessful applications?
its a big eyesore seeing the word unsuccessful there

A similar thing happened to me where I couldn't reach them after they reached out to me to ask for a second interview but didn't reply after that and couldn't be reached by phone. I was lucky enough to have my first interviewer's phone number and I called them up and got a response. Don't give up! The call up took more than 2 weeks for the first interview to second interview and I eventually got the job.

Hi, I have recently joined a stat board and found that the job is not a very good fit and in fact is causing me misery, unhappiness and tiredness which seem to increase day after day. Even though I tried to think positive and do my best, the work is getting more and more unbearable and to a certain extent also unreasonble. I wanted to apply for suitable job openings with other govt agencies as I will not be able to cope with the misery and exhaustion that comes with this current job. Would the other govt agencies reject my applications outright since i only joined my current stat bd? Any good advice? TIA

Would like to seek advice:

I have attended the 2nd interview with LTA and was told that they would get back to me within two weeks, two weeks have passed and there isn't any response. Sent HR an email but no response. The wait is nerve wrecking(

What are the chances of being selected? should I lose hope?

Not sure where to ask this.... does anyone here knows if it'll affect my security clearance if my Father just recently got a criminal record for picking up someone's wallet and keeping it? Or will this not affect my clearance as gov only look at my own record and not my parents? Appreciate the help guys!

yes close to zero chance. speaking from personal experience. u have to declare that u are an existing public servant in careers gov, can't lie. i didnt get any callups... what kind of job is so bad, can't even endure 2 years?

use the bonuses and each pay day to motivate yourself. just endure 2 years
