i have no clue on that.

very rare they will offer perm hiring immediately.

contract 1st
if got spare head count to do perm, then see if the hiring side/division wan to convert or nt

for my recent stint as contract staff, basically fixed terms ie no PB or the merit increment
other than that, medical benefits/claims given
the leave entitlement wise same as perm staff ie the AL, CCL etc won't tio short change

i was only ask to join F2F orientation nearly 2 years after being in the organisation whh is like damn awkard lor

If you are fresh grad or coming from private sector, good to include cover letter.

seems like private sector is better nowadays still easy to get perm, pay also better.

Civil service EVP has always been about iron rice bowl. Without it is no longer that attractive.

err i don't know TBH

u meant your current role say is perm head count and u wan to move (think there shd be some sort of directive/SOP that talks abt movement to different SB within same ministry and move to different SB under different ministry) is for a contract / perm head count role?

whether such lateral/vertical/horizontal mvmt is recognised and your year(s) of service in SB A is counted / ignored when u move to SB B for instance.

u might wan to clarify on that with the HR/P&C side downstream if you are more or less confirmed gg over to the next place lor

my current role in a statboard is perm already.. i looking to get out, probably to another statboard under different ministry.. i do hope they can still retain my years of service, as well as the perm standing.. not sure if the movement policy works this way thou.. especially now is the PB period, in order to retain PB, need to stay until end of april somemore....
