Maybe easier, yes, if you read the DXO page, someone there says that after a few years of experience he was only offered the same (or similar) to what a fresh grad with first-class is getting. I think most civil service is like that. So maybe easier to enter but don’t expect a high salary.

Fyi, during election most of the team lead are from LTA. To me that's a solid recognition of their leadership abilities.
What did u apply for buddy, civil engineer? Random guess.

Ahhhhh. Gotta thank you still. Maybe if LTA replies me earlier, might consider
I applied to the SLA as a… hmmmm… One of the post glassdoor rated as the worst. You are right… Overtime + Saturdays. So… actually I'm not so concerned with the work load. But more of the waiting time and ultimately the remuneration package…
The post I applied for is indeed in need of people, yet at the same time, it is rarely seen appearing in Careers@Gov… So I wouldn't dare to explicitly mention the title I applied for…

if you can be more specific, like which agencies are you applying for and your profile in terms of academic outcomes [grade(pass, pass w merit) or honours(fch, 2upper, etc)] and experience, and gender (for NS pay)

So either way you will work 2 years in 1 year. Haha. Never mind, rise as much as u can while there's strong demand, learn all u can while few obligation. My engineer friend said, once you have 3 4 years solid experience, the demand is good even in slump. But very few Chinese doing engineering / construction.
The package is normal but the hours is abnormal. They are not going to pay u 3.5x2 to work double the hours. This pay is assuming you have some decent honours. Once you have solid experience then aim mnc or overseas for fewer hours.

Some points to consider. It's difficult to place what you applied to, considering all those agencies don't have much in common. Coming from SIT... Some form of analyst/big data job?
1. Dunno if they think your experience relevant or not.
2. Pes status don't matter, you didn't sign up for uniform regular. The other person was asking if u served.
3. Previous salary can influence your pay
I doubt you can get above 4k. This formula below assumes they really like your profile.
1 Yr experience $200 x 4 =800
Pass degree local uni $2800
NS $200
This thread is on timeline.... Read up the other threads on salary esp DXO. I'm just feeling your anxiety so I'm trying my best to alleviate your anxiety, and the polite fella about SLA, LTA.
