What school are you in? Sounds like a singular opinion.

Secondary school exam papers
I am a new lower secondary school teacher. I wanted to check on other schools exam questions for my reference and to give out as practice papers but my school and peers only have our own school papers. I checked with NIE but they do not have it as well. I searched online and downloaded some but the answers are wrong for some questions. Any advice on where I can download exam papers?

For those who have been posted out from HQ back to schools as KPs, is distance still a consideration by HR? Or can you be posted all the way to the other end of the island?

Got appointed as AYH as a BT in R school. But i feel like I am not getting the respect of colleagues. How do I get them to respect and fear me? What kind of power move can i do? Any tricks from seniors and KPs here?

Train the teachers seated closest to the staff room door to shout "Staff Room Diam!" when you walk in. Have them salute you with sharp movements and for the whole staff room to greet you loudly. If they don't stand at attention and greet you properly in unison, have them do it again and again. Practice makes perfect.

Be humble, work hard and be open to learn from the more experienced teachers (not just HODs). Title means nothing much in school, especially to the lao jiao.

Usual practice is to network with teachers from other schools. Ask your NIE classmates. KP might also have access to additional inter-school channels.

Until you hit VP level, you're still pretty in control of your postings - even when exiting HQ, you'll usually need to go for interviews and find a school that wants you. The main difference is that (for eligible officers) there's an additional (earlier) round for outgoing HQ officers for high-needs schools.
