i heard from newly posted in KPs that KP positions available at JC and sec level are very few, competitive, and they are often pressured into cross-level deployment nowadays
is that true?
heard from a previous sec level HOD that when he was pending posting after his secondment, he was only offered 1 sec sch position (which was pretty far) and the rest are all pri schools (lots of choices)

That shouldn't be the case. There's lots of positions available for sec school during the earlier posting exercise and also OPE.
If the HOD wasn't offered it means the school's they interviewed at didnt want them

I am intending to go on a 1 year NPL. Would it be possible to decide to switch to FAJT when my 1 year NPL is ending? Say 5 months out?

Even though you are on leave, you must still formally tender your resignation to your school and MOE HR. The notice period applies. During the notice period, you can submit your FAJT application. The connect plan would be forfeited though.

The one in mine oversees/assists with things like Learning Zones/Differentiated Learning, K2 visits, TRANSIT, LB specific content etc.
Usually it's someone that has been in Lower Pri for a very long amount of time, or could be ex AYH/YH that stepped down etc.

Is C- getting more and more common these days? Been getting that in 2 consecutive years and I am still the normal HOT these days in schools.
Is it a macro method for MOE to cut wage cost or is it a hint from the school for teachers to retire early and move to FAJT?
