Geo4 and 5 gossip in pantry everyday has no harm. KPs just need to gossip once a year you will see the effect liao. Gossip during ranking session can destroy your whole year worth of work.

I see so many people like slacking and can promote or stay in sector.. so why do ppl want to be kp?

speaking of gossip, did anyone hear about the recent case of the female VP who groomed her student 10 years ago when she was a teacher (pri sch)? anyone know anything about her or worked with her before? think she is (or rather was) quite high-profile/moved around quite a lot

Exactly. They gossip among themselves, never check facts never ask officer for their side of story. By the time the officer hears that the KPs “gave feedback”, even if he or she got his or her side of story and the situation could be misrepresented, it’s too late. Coz by then usually the ranking is done.

HAPPENED to me. All the hardwork from jan- oct was undone by this. Was depressed during the Nov -dec break. Told myself never again will i go above and beyond my call of duty. An above average grade is not guranteed.

I dunno why. But Moe should seriously look into 360 review. Some ministry started it some years ago. It is not a good thing if only the bosses rank the subordinates, because some KPs and SLs are just unreasonable. Some just likes to see people suffer under them and feel that they have the power to control people.

What's a 360 review like? Which ministries have done it?

Means we get to rank/feedback on our RO and SLs. Not just one sided.

Not good to name any ministries in particular but you can go find out from your friends who work in other ministries. I know because my spouse’s workplace practice that.

Anyone managed to promoted from GEO5 to SEO1 within 3 years? What was your performance grade like?

any chance of getting promoted to seo 1 next year? i took 3 years from geo4 to geo5. average B.

2023 Moved to HQ. Promoted to GEO 5. B for PB. (HQ)
2024 GEO 5 C for PB (HQ)
2025 GEO 5 B for PB (HQ)
2026 ?????

I think my C grade in HQ screwed me. =(
