Just like in army, recruit and private always get the worse **** of all. The moment you become lance corporal your life will become better. The GEO5s are like corporal first class.

You happy or not, that’s not the fraternity’s problem. U have three choice,

1) quit
2) work your way up to SH/HOD and tekan those geo5 hard and make a difference to future BTs under you.
3) keep quiet do your job, get paid, dun complain.

It may sound harsh but that’s the reality in the system. You dun want to do, long queue of second career ppl waiting to join the fraternity for stable pay.

Another thing to note. Just because staff are not seen to be hard at work from your POV does not mean they don't have work. I do most of my serious work like setting paper or time consuming admin work at home including on weekends. Then weekday hours are for dealing with last min sh*T
You will feel better after two years, or ... You will just quit.

3 years from GEO5 to SEO1 is hard if you are just an SH. Much more likely if you’re a HOD.

I took 5yrs from GEO5 to SEO1 as an SH with B grade every year. The other SHs in my sch also ranged from 4-6 years.

There were some 3yr ones but they were all HODs.

The smart ones know to avoid admin work that do not bring impact. The underappreciated setting of papers (beyond normal amounts) or looking into welfare of students. Or they do it but cut corners without being known. Eg: seen talking to students one on one but no follow up aka do for the sake of doing. The time that they save up is then spent on doing things that KPs/SLs see as important.

2022 - promoted to GEO5, C grade
2023 - B grade
2024 - B grade
2025 - back in sch, first time SH. Promoted in Apr
