Those look like normal HQ working hours. Today, we are doing what probably used to be two or three officers' work a decade ago. You know MOE is getting their money's worth when you have to somehow keep tabs on both a Zoom meeting and a Teams meeting at the same time... while having dinner at 8pm.

Fellow hq sufferer lol. Its not just the top tier Divs that have such terrible working hours. One more year to go before heading back to school. Perhaps life there might be better.

I know teachers love to **** on their SLs but i can't bash my DDs and D for slacking. Their work life balance is so much worse

Can I ask. Its not automatic for a GEO5 to be promoted if they become a KP right? I will be going for my confirmation interview this year so I am wondering if that means there's a likelihood for me to get SEO1 next year.

This is my 3rd year as a GEO5 so I'm wondering if my confirmation is the deal breaker for me to get a promotion.

Nope not automatic. There are plenty of GEO4 and GEO5 KPs. It will likely take a few years after getting appointed to get promoted to SEO1.

By right latest by today, your SLs should have informed you but keeps your hopes there. Maybe they will notify by end of this week?

2) everything will be pro rated, even your connect plan. Performance bonus wise, should not be a problem as your 3 weeks’ shouldn’t be impactful enough to say u not in school everybody’s work affected.

I know different SLs have different standards but would just like to understand. Esp when Sep period is close to the exam rush but it's quite non-negotiable for me. Thank you!

Not possible. NPL is a benefit, not an entitlement. If you don’t reveal the reason, it cannot be approved. Then quitting might be the only option if it’s non negotiable and you don’t want to reveal.

Unless you are super scholar can become seo2 less than 10 years of service while us mere mortals slog it out for 15 to 20 years
