Sadly, no. Promotion is slowed down now. If your CEP is not high, most likely you get a promotion when you are near the your salary ceiling. No point promoting you fast and end up ceiling cap for the rest of your career.
Some GEO5 SH are at GEO for 7/8/9 years and haven get SEO1. So for your case, wait long long. Unless your CEP is a VP or P, then yes, faster.

Its not that bad. The SHs in my school have all been getting GEO5-SEO1 in about 3-5 years. None are scholars so i doubt they have very high CEPs.

Uhh mere mortals stuck at GEO5. Those who get SEO2 in 15-20 years are still very impressive la

You mean getting SEO1 3-5 years after being an SH? Thats not that bad I guess
Hopefully another 3 rather than 5 so I don't hit the salary cap.

9th year in GEO4 is it normal?
I am currently in my 9th year as a GEO4. Just an average performer but no adverse grade before. I will hit my ceiling by this year. Is this even normal? So far no news of promotion coming yet..

Well faster than normal people. But I have known teachers that’s even faster. But sadly, due to non scholarship status, stagnant at GEO5 SH.
With more merging schools, you can’t expect promotion to be fast because the SL positions will be filled by scholars first. Just be prepared to be a VP maybe around the age of 50. Dun have high expectations to be honest. If not you will be burnt out and upset very fast.
Do a little bit of math, you will know the salary dun work out to be very attractive for Vp and above. You have little power even as SLs because HQ calls the shot. At most you can be in control of the teachers in the school.

I also don’t know how to break into the SEO ceiling.
