I used to be from EMS coy before, but apprarently they dun really pay well. haha...
That's great that they are impressed with both your resume and experiences.
Actually it depends on you want, higher pay with lower title? or lower pay with higher title? Most ppl will go for the money I guess. Also it depends on the job scope of your future role...

You are quite funny, if u cannot make up your mind, you shouldn't even go and waste ppl time. There are other people whom want the job more than you. And yet, u still dare to say "step back in my career". Come on, be realistic, you cannot have both worlds, if not, just stay put and not regret yr decision.
Title cannot feed you if you are retrench (some day), ultimately, it depends on what you want to learn in your career. If you are so afraid to loose your title, that goes to show that you are quite shallow. Strategic thinkers will not be bother about such thing, the key is how your next job can help you in gathering the necessary experiences to make the next move again.

They were impressed by my resume and my spoken experiences, likely to secure the job. But am considering.
I am doing a strategic role now, title is manager.
Interviewed role today is for a mid level exec, in operations, though I can ask for a higher salary. But this is a step back in my career. Am I overthinking this?

Got the offer, and I am asking for 15% on top of my Annual now.
15% + Annual basic, Variable, Allowances.
If its met, I guess I will go, no reason to turn down more $$. Its in a industry I hope to get in.
My friends are telling me my expectations are too low, with headhunters I can ask for 20 to 40% increment, and they are in the same industry as me, similiar positions, scored 30 to 40% increment from their previous annual.
Is this true?

Hmm... whether job market is good or bad doesn't affect these high earners in any way, unless they just got fired.

Hi Watson
Congratz. once move on, don't look back. the moment you go for the interview proves the pull factor was greater than the push factor and don't tell people here that it is not. you are 28 and the years of experience in the working world triger your adult instinct to respond by attending the interview, and the instinct already told you what to do next, later and then after.....
post here is just to seek more confort if your title drops, for hell sack it can't earn you any $$. but my advice to you is please stay put. after another 8 months you may be come to here again asking, "hey 5 figures job but maintain the same title.... should i take..." the market is bad out there and you are the lucky one for this time.

Hi Poor
I don't quite understand, so you stand is to stay put where I am?
Title don't really matter to me, I don't know why I get so much flake here on this. What matters is the scope.
My job now is not in operations. New job would be, and at the bottom of food chain. This is my grouse.
Pull factor to interview is the company and industry
