The program is 18 months long and starting should be ~3.5-4 if i'm not wrong. Company is not doing well now as they have lost a lot of airport bids. The flagship route is for Retail; the progression is also the fastest if you are talented and have the image/looks for Luxury Retail (not just for travel retail). But recently they have lowered standards for the image part as a lot of MT graduates have been poached by external luxury brands in the region.
Pay Scale increase used to be phenomenal back in the china boom / glory days but quite bleak now. Working hours are alright, nothing too intense (good hours compared to banking)
Culture is extremely extremely political... With the Hong Kong HQ office being the worst (especially in Merchandising & Marketing) and SG being slightly better. All MTs will rotate into Hong Kong for Merchandising/Marketing for around 6 months so good exposure for Singaporeans. Rest of the time is in Singapore Scottswalk or Changi Airport. Scottswalk has the best hours and Changi Airport is the worst - you start as early as before 6am and end way past midnight (if you are placed in spirits wine tobacco its practically open 24/7)

DFS management trainee - finance track
hello! Does anyone have info regarding the finance track? In terms of starting pay and pay scale, culture, hours and if you will get to choose your rotations or is it based on business needs? The firm mentioned that they are ATO and will support CA/CPA, what’s the support like? In terms of study leave/sponsorship/tuition?
any information would be appreciated!
