Hi there,
I am working in ministry, and has been emplaced since a few months back.
My question: If I would to move/transfer to a Statboard, I understand I will have to resign and start at statboard. I heard that the years of service will be resettled. Does it also mean that I will restart as a contract staff ? Or is there any policy that enable me to still retain my emplaced terms earlier ?
I heard movement/transfer only applies to Min-Min , but not Min-SB. Correct me if I’m wrong?

And before your 2nd or 3 yr where you could gotten something better, you leave for another place
And rinse and repeat.
Sorry to put it bluntly, but this is job hopping

Ya man~ You only joined 1 year plus and then sure get a C. You might get your Bs after that but you decided to leave. Some more when you joined that time you might even missed the ranking period. If you really want to prove your worth, better stay at one SB/Min and perform your best to get good grades. Otherwise, your hopping practice better stay at private sector where you can use last drawn pay each time

You can refer to the IM - It is under Transfer of Svc. Generally, should be okay to transfer as long it is within your pay scale or the MX/rank level.

Despite putting in extra effort to broaden my scope and take on additional work beyond my responsibilities, the result was not what I anticipated.
I had aspirations of moving to MXO12 this year, but now it seems unlikely. This situation has left me contemplating resigning. Do you think resigning is the right move, or should I explore other options?

My personal advice to you as I am in similar situation where we felt unworthy for such a grade. Speak to your supervisor about this and check in where is lacking of or what resulted in this? Work for one more year (2024) to see whether can bring back the B? If not next year result if no B then you can start to look for other jobs le.

Ultimately, it will leave the mediocre, average, old, stubborn seniors behind having a stable high pay with 16 months or more annual salary package. The young and promising ones who couldn't withstand the lack of appreciation and fighting for better grades for promotion to leave for greener pasture.

Anybody knows if the PB payout happening is for WOG? I'm in a stat board which follows the same scheme and bonus with the ministries every year - payout date also the same for the past few years but this year until now (18 Mar), still no sound no notice no email/letter etc.
