Your peers should be AVPs in banks by now. You can move to compliance in banks for a 20% pay raise to catch up with them.

Hi all, looking for some advice please.
35 years old, 2nd Lower Hons and a M.Sc with about 8-9 years of work experience (3+yrs in a MNC), currently with a statboard drawing 5.8k on grade IPS 7.
Another statboard has verbally offered me MX11 but monthly salary is lower and title dropped from Manager to DM.
Am i being undercut? I will say the benefits are about the same.
Thanks for your advice.

The role put out on the portal was v vaguely described and only found out the grade afterwards. Don’t feel like MX grade offered reflect my level of experience

Titles across different SB differ so yes, mgr grade in one is equivalent to deputy mgr in another.
If total package is the same or oower , it might be because the new place perceived your experience to be less relevant to your current position

Working overseas in a MNC at mid-management level but moving back to Singapore. Experience is directly relevant to the new role. Is mx11a reasonable to negotiate for?!

What is your annual package now? And your gross monthly? quantum of bonuses? So we can better advise.

is this mx11 or mx11a? i was of the impression that mx11a start at around 6k.
7yrs working exp, meaning around 30 yr old? pretty decent salary.
