i dont think it is so high. I am a MX10 and it has been around 5% over the past few years.

if you enter a stat board from the private sector into a director or senior director position and become permamnent, does it have the same amount of job security as lower levels? i.e- difficult for senior management to get rid of you? i heard they need to seek multiple levels of approval to fire people
