Question here, as you know most doctors salary will be above the income ceiling for btos.
Is locuming a good option in such cases? I know of many clinics who actually pays cash for locums, i.e no cpf, meaning that our declared income will lower when it comes to bto application.

I will suggest that you do proper declaration. IRAS has it methods to detect tax evasion and if you underdeclare u may be asked on the source of your inflows.

Do note that clinics to make a declaration of payment to locums and I am quite sure clinic will open up the books for audit if asked.

I find a doctor trying to do a part time job to buy a bto very laughable. But then it does show how hard they have fallen

hello troll.
dun be daft. la. Iras go chase after max few hundred k of income?
hello, they go after pple with million of undeclare income not your Kuching kurak money.

also. incase you don't catch the drift, they guy is asking is it a better idea to quit a full time doctoring job , survive on locumship as the income can be under declared so that he can qualify for a bto, not that he needs to locum to earn extra money to buy a bto.
not that I'm supportive of what he is trying to do but it's you I'm taking an issue with.

iq really cmi liao, still want to laugh at people. omg. dumb don't talk , no one know.but dumb try to act smart, everyone knows. and surely ,low as your iq is, u know which category u belong to, or you really don't?

Sounds like a dumb idea. Very short term thinking.

Why is a dumb idea? I supposed the OP always wanted to be gp and not specialist (i.e he not giving up his ambition)
I think this is a good loophole to exploit..
