The issue is I have only been in my current role for less than 2 years so I am afraid I am not eligible for secondment.

and in your so-called ADP exercise (aka appraisal), u can indicate
but ultimately u r less than 2 years into current role, very rare they will allow staff to transfer, keep tat dreams aside
unless u apply normal job app
and if offered a role at the new SB/ministry, let both sides' HR/HC sort out if they can allow the movement to be counted as lateral mvmt within SB/Ministry
this largely is to avoid yourself having to start from ground zero ie recognising your previous years in the public sector twds your YOEs
--> may well see if your AL entitlement remains 18 or will increase as they deem u as expperienced personnel or not lor

Noted. So is there any implication or things I should be aware of if I am applying for another job via Careers@Gov? Am just worried the hiring agency would inform my current agency's HR when I indicate my current working experience
And is secondment really only for those with potential? Where I am from, many people seem to be going on secondments.

what's there to be scare unless u got dark secrets to hide
in any case when u list you have work at certain places,
the hiring agency's HR team likely will do some cursory check to see if u indeed is or had previously work at the place lor...and mayb check with the HOD on this bloke's performance thus far
unless u try to horlan false declare
they do check and find out that u fake your employment history then its GG for u
what agency u from ah
seem to be going on secondment?
u sure or not?
u ask everyone of them and they tell u they secondment or u assume only?
where got so hosae to allow staff to mass-go secondment kind
also need to see if the other places have spare headcount to take in new secondees

Currently, I am a permanent staff in a stat board. Would I be a permanent staff when I go from stat board to a ministry under movement policy scheme?
Thanks

I am from SB of ministry A and you plan to move a entirely different ministry B. May I please check whether I can still keep my perm position when I transfer over under movement policy?

I think so. That's why it's called movement policy.
