Yaloh same group of micron luver kept arguing Singaporeans can drive in ang mo countrys. If we can drive there then why need to have their country traffic laws. Singtel FTW!

Yeah, all those who cannot make it for Singtel MAP should join micron and continue dreaming about Singaporeans being able to drive in other countries. They never heard about foreign traffic laws and RHD LHD.

How is KLA Tencor compared to Micron pay/benefits and culture wise? Thinking of applying for an engineering role there with about 4 YoE.

I got an offer and thinking about joining them. Is Micron that bad compared to other semicon / traditional hardware companies ?

For fresh grad, better than Globalfoundries, SSMC, ST. UMC may pay u more but u need work 996.

But y consider semicon?

Sadly, I started my career in traditional hardware company, didn't switch job often (I'm stupid, I know), and Semicon / automotive companies contacted me quite often for the interview. I tried Amazon, Apple and other Tech companies, but even couldn't pass the 1st round

Oh... Then depends on what role u got from Micron. They are having mass hiring these days so it's very ez to get in this yr. Similar to automotive like Continental are also having many openings now.
The reason I dun recommend semicon is that all SG fabs no matter Micron or GF is like slave for US R&D... U are instructed by them and what u need to do is just follow their design/recipe.
