If someone see you outside, she will beat you till you go hospital. So like to insult people.

IIRC, one teacher recounted caning such a student till he cry mother and father.
That student grew up and began trolling forums.
Could be same crybaby?

If reading such post is a stress relieved among all options. There is something wrong with your mental being.

A disgrace.
It's very strange for people to assume that every single person who replies here is a teacher. Funny max lol

Lol. This forum used to be a place for ppl to actually help each other out. Nowadays I see 2 whole pages worth of new replies when i visit, and 95% are just ppl shitposting the same nonsense over and over.

That's what happens when there's no moderator.

From what I've seen, opportunities are limited, growth is restricted, especially in the beginning years when they are just happy with the CEP they gave at the start. Then when life commitments roll in, they say with X-years experience, I should be doing even more now. And everyone selectively forgets that after 14y, climbing from 2.2, 2.1, 2A1... GEO1, GEO2.. I've only just moved to GEO 3, bringing home only 2.9 per month. OPE has not worked. Trying different tracks was not an option - was advised to stay on teaching track etc.

People have since forgotten that we exist... just because there's less of us now doesn't mean that we disappeared. Even worse for those of us who are promised emplacement only to be left behind when they merged the scales and say - no such thing anymore. Just feeling so tired.
You know we know everybody knows lah

Despite all the talk about meritocracy, focusing less on paper chase, do you really think they got walk the talk?

Despite efforts by Louis Ng to speak up for teachers in parliament, to remove bell curve ranking, reduce non-teaching work, and remove CEP, what has changed?

They doubled down and insist that ranking is done in a fair manner. How fair, those on the ground can see for themselves.

Double-down and insisted that non-teaching work, is also part of GEOs' work, as an educator, instead of merely a 'teacher'. Nevermind that there is a lack of Employment Act to cap civil servants' working hours.

Instead of having CEP, CEP just got rebranded as LP. Which serves the same function.

For your case, if you have a degree, any degree, and still drawing only 2.9k after so many years, just quit. Don't even have to stay in education field as a tutor. When fresh grads are making close to 4k, literally any job will pay better. Stop wasting your time.

Paper qualifications are important.

When even grads are struggling to promote, given the dearth of promotion opportunities, what more for dip ed folks.

Yes. SgLDC. Requires a functional moe.edu.sg email address to be approved.
You can approach your school's HOD/ICT or SH/ICT for more info.

That's to filter out the fake teachers from the real teachers.
