Anyone join civil service on TSO scheme?

Anyone on TSO scheme? come in and share what grade and salary/bonuses/increment you are getting.

I'm currently drawing 2.5k+ as a Technical support officer grade 3. No bonuses yet as I've only joined recently.

either u remembered your grade wrongly or u are lying. a TSO Grade 6 in police alr earns 2k lol. so how can u, who is 3 grades higher earn only 2.5k? see my link below:

Nope not wrong..not lying either. Grade 3 as stated on my contract. I'm actually not really sure how this grading works. care to explain more?
I'm Currently working in statboard not military or police. On my contract it says salary range for my grade is $1.9k - $3.66k

TSO is a scheme for diploma holders and ppl with lower qualifications than that.

by right, the lower your number means the higher your rank. grade 6 is entry lvl for dip holders. grade 5 is for ppl with working experience previously.

your case is puzzling as u mentioned u enter @ grade 3 but your pay is super underwhelming from my knowledge.

mind sharing which ministry / statboard ur employed under? n what type of contract u under? 1 yr probation or?

Working for LTA. 2 years contract and probation on the first 6months.

Dont be surprise.. i know of a friend TSO at CAAS.. their rank funny one.. 3 is lowest than goes up.. unlike ministry 6 lowest than go down.. suspect the guy who post this also frm CAAS maybe.. shiok ah work airport..

my info maybe wrong for statboards. best to check with your colleagues in the same dept as i cant help u further...

pretty funny they gave u grade 3 though. bcos in ministries, anything above TSO 4 is almost unachievable n unheard of...

Grade 6 is the highest in LTA. It's different from ministries whereby 6 is the lowest.

Which part of the above explanation some of you do not understand? Just be receptive and open-minded to accept that there are different and more specialised TSO scheme and different (reverse) numbering grades la.

(Why insist others are wrong despite the reasoning?)

Continue to share either on generic or LTA TSO schemes lor. Accept you learn something new.
