im unsure if it differs from each ministry / statboard...
but generally the payscale for MSO 5 is from 3k to 4k (salary ceiling).
dont blame me if im wrong. this is the figure im seeing in my organization...

my place we having a renaming exercise, from mso to asst exec, since government wants to close the gap between diploma and degree holders.. not sure have pay increment or not... must wait for budget 2015 maybe...
