Has EY-parthenon fully merged into TAS?

Are there any disadvantages in terms of exit opps and salary if they have?

4.5k is real. I'm personally from Deals, lateralled in so havent personally went through ACE program but all salaries in big 4 is somewhat an open secret.

Let's say u want to go into advisory / consulting, which is separate in PwC's operating structure. I say it's good, 4.5k is the highest any A1 would get in PwC, excluding S& whose pay is kind of a blackbox.

However, looking at trajectory and salary you are going to get in next few years, I say other consulting firms pay a lot higher. A 1st year manager in deals strategy gets around 6.5k after ~5-6 years of experience. A 1st year manager in ACN Consulting gets around 9k after also ~5-6 years of exp. Note: years of exp based on average performer.

My opinion: good starting point, bad progression, decent exit opportunities. A lot of people leave for F500 MNC, get 20-25% salary bump in 2-3 years earning 6-7k. Not extremely high, but decent enough. Turnover extremely high in mid seniority levels (SA/M), which is also why I got hired.

this is helpful. 6.5k after 5-6 years experience is that the norm among big 4? people who jump out do they get a 20% increment?

Yes it's the norm. From audit to tax to advisory / consulting, most salaries start to converge at Manager level. Advisory / consulting managers in Big 4 may be earning a little higher, but still below 7K per month. The only difference is they start off at 4K+ while audit guys start at 3K.

From what I know, the only people in Big 4 getting significantly different packages will be in Legal, or certain strategy arms which have been acquired. Let's cross out Legal since you're probably not heading there anyway. That leaves us with Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, and Strategy& - tier 2 houses.

From what I know, MD and S& tracks other tier 2 houses like ATK and OW, so u can expect a 1st year manager to get around ~15-16K onwards. I only have friends in PwC / Deloitte consulting so this is definitely not 1st-hand information, but then again i'm pretty confident the consulting peeps "know" their counterpart's salaries.

And yes, typically anywhere from 15% to 25% is normal. Heard of some people getting 30-40% but don't expect it. Outliers.

Thanks for the detailed sharing. Seems much more lucrative to go for strat/consulting roles instead if that's the case. 15k after 5-6 years is very tempting. Shall work hard and prepare for these roles...
