Which tech career offer to choose?

TS you're too nice. If I were you I would stop replying after reading these stupid ass responses. Anyway go with Tencent. Reason being is that RSU needs time to vest, it seems to me like you're not all that interested in staying in the role too long.

So get the high base, leave after a year or two and find a more suitable company. Chances of you changing role in Tencent or let alone any other large tech company is really low. I've heard of people changing teams but never changing roles. ( At least for tech )

Bleah, quite a number of my ex-colleagues changed roles as long as they pass the internal interview process. Knew people who changed from non-tech roles to tech and vice-versa. I myself also changed role once. Am in a Chinese tech company. But if you change role you need to keep quiet about it. There was an ex-colleague who told people and hence was rejected from switching roles. I stayed in the company long enough so I knew all my ex-colleagues who had changed roles.

Interesting, but what do you mean by if you change role you need to keep quiet about it? Any advice?
